Police are investigating a van fire believed to have been started deliberately.
The fire in Church Lane in East Stoke near Wareham was reported to the fire service at 4.42pm on Sunday, November 6.
Firefighters from Wareham attended along with police officers.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at 4.54pm on Sunday 6 November 2022 of a van on fire in Church Lane in East Stoke.
“Officers attended with the fire service.
“It is believed the fire was started deliberately and enquiries are ongoing into the incident.”
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were called to Church Lane, East Stoke at 4.42pm on Sunday for a fire involving a van.
“One crew from Wareham attended and two breathing apparatus wearers used one hose reel jet and a main jet to extinguish the fire, which was contained to the cab. The stop was at 5.18pm.
“We did refer this to the police as it was believed suspicious.”
