It was touch and go as to whether or not firework displays would go ahead across Dorset tonight.
Heavy rain and strong winds throughout the day threatened to make Bonfire Night a washout.
Displays in Dorchester and Charmouth were cancelled due to bad weather.
Luckily, a number of events were able to continue.
Thousands of people gathered on Weymouth beach and along the seafront to catch a dazzling display organised by Weymouth Town Council.

The fun kicked off at 4pm with a family funfair on the Pavilion forecourt along with stalls on the seafront.
A giant beach bonfire was lit at 7.40pm, followed by the firework display over Weymouth Bay at 8pm.
