ENGLISH Heritage is inviting spectators to Portland Castle on June 14 for a Second World War vehicle parade and games.
The event, which runs from 11am-5pm, will include 60 original vehicles from the war from jeeps to weapon carriers, which will arrive at the D-Day preparation site at 1.30pm.
Children will be able to enjoy recreating scenes in wartime skies by testing their own plane's ability to fly in a game of Victory Flight Path.
After the parade there will be an opportunity to explore the 16th century battlements of Portland Castle or enjoy a sea journey to Weymouth aboard Second World War veteran boat, My Girl.
More information on the event and about Portland Castle is available on 01305 820539 while prices are £4 for adults, £3.20 for concessions, £2 for children and £10 for a family, with Heritage members free.
There is also an extra charge for a trip on My Girl.
