Let's turn back the clock and remember the days of fast food in Weymouth before the likes of McDonald's and Burger King came along.
This is a copy of the Wimpy menu from the 1970s - the days when you could buy a 'Wimpy grill' for 36p!
Many of you have fond memories of the Weymouth Wimpy, which was in St Edmund Street in the 70s near the Golden Lion before moving into the old Job Centre in St. Thomas Street. The Job Centre then became what is now Prezzos.
The ever-informative Stuart Morris has shared this photo of Weymouth's Wimpy bar in St Edmund Street, which later became a Beefeater bar when Wimpy later moved further up St Thomas Street.
And, thanks to Mr Morris, we also have a further image of the Wimpy in 1969 - Dorset Tool Sales next door became Moto Sales.
Robert Morgan has happy memories of the Wimpy special grill and knickerbocker glory, while Kristine Roberts remembers attending a friend's birthday party there when she was 11.
Vivienne Burke's parents ran the Weymouth Wimpy and says she has 'many happy memories' of it.
Jo Thomas says: "These photos bring back loads of memories. Yes used to go in there and have some French fries with friends, when we could afford some. Notice that there was nothing for vegetarians back in the day. I was one and it was very difficult."
Meanwhile, Clair Evans was a big fan of the milkshakes.
Gerry Beale says he never went into the Weymouth Wimpy, but used the one in South Street in Dorchester occasionally. He said: "It used to be a Friday lunchtime treat to go there with workmates!"
