A teenager from Blandford Forum has been fined after being caught driving at 100mph.
Joshua Kyle John Painter, whose address was given as Diamond Way appeared before Weymouth Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 25 for sentencing.
He was charged with driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit - relating to an incident on April 23, 2021 when Painter was caught driving a Ford at 100mph on the Upton Bypass. The speed limit was 70mph.
Painter was fined £215 and ordered to pay costs of £110 as well as surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
His driving record was endorsed with five points.
