A new care home in Weymouth is to open for potential residents to view the purpose-built premises.
Weymouth Manor, situated on Radipole Lane at Southill, Weymouth, will open later this year and offers residential care for 66 people.
The new development has helped create up to 80 jobs.
Potential residents will now be able to step inside the property for a tour of everything on offer - from an in-house cinema to a tea room.
Manager Lucy Yao said: "We’re fast approaching our opening date and we’re so very happy to be able to show people around our new care home.
"This is our first home in Dorset, and we think that families will warm to the care and attention to detail we have created at Weymouth Manor. With 66 en-suite bedrooms on offer, this is a great opportunity to come along, take a tour and maybe even put your name down for a particular room, provisionally.
"We’ve worked hard to recruit skilled and caring team members and we’d love families to come and get to know them and find out more about day-today life at Weymouth Manor.”
Esther Sheppard, contact manager, said: “Having worked in the care sector since 2015, I know how important it is to be there for families to help them make the right decision for them – whatever that may be.
"I will work with our prospective families to understand what they need and how we, at Chanctonbury Healthcare, will be able to support them at this time.”
The home is operated by Chanctonbury Healthcare who currently run three homes in Sussex.
Weymouth Manor Manager, Lucy Yao, added, “This is a great time to see our home. Our tours will be running soon and it’s your chance to come along and meet us and to see just how comfortable and caring our home is. You’ll be able to explore both our rooms and our facilities, as well as enjoy our gardens."
