There are delays to train services between Weymouth and Dorchester South this afternoon due to a points failure.
The failure at Upwey was first reported at 1:31pm and delays are expected to continue until 4pm. As such, some of the lines are blocked.
The points failure is due to a trapped hedgehog at Upwey.
National Rail Enquires said: "A points failure at Upwey means some lines are currently blocked. As a result, trains running to/from Weymouth may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
"We expect this to continue until 4pm."

Train operators affected are Great Western Railway and South Western Railway.
Travellers may be entitled to compensation if they experience a delay with their journey and are advised to make note of the journey and keep the train ticket.
