POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision near Sturminster Marshall in Dorset.

Dorset Police received a report of the incident that took place on the A350 north of Roundhouse Roundabout at 7:12 am on Tuesday, October 18.

A silver Mitsubishi Space Star and a Suzuki motorcycle were involved in the incident.

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist - who is from Poole - was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.

Police Constable Dan Yates said: “We are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.

“I would also urge anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and has a dashcam fitted to please check their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”

"Dorset Police received a report at 7:12 am on Tuesday 18 October 2022 of a collision on the A350 north of the Roundhouse Roundabout involving a silver Mitsubishi Space Star and a Suzuki motorcycle.

"Officers attended the scene, along with the ambulance service, and the motorcyclist – a Poole man aged in his 30s – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries to his leg."
