Dancers who saw their studio go up in flames are proof that the show must go on.
Following a fire that destroyed part of the Mercury Dance Academy's building in Weymouth, members are set to take to the stage in London's West End to participate in a dance showcase.
The dancers will perform two routines at Her Majesty's Theatre for the Stars In Our Eyes 2008 annual show on Sunday.
Every year the show gives selected dance schools from around Britain the chance to perform in prestigious theatres.
This will be the second year running the academy has been selected to take part in the show.
Last year Mercury dancers performed at the Sadler's Wells theatre and were praised for their dance ability, innovative choreography and detailed costumes.
All 35 dancers, who are aged between six and 26, have been choreographed by Mercury principal Jenny Glover.
Ms Glover said: "I'm proud of the way my dancers and their families have rallied round to help get the Chapel Lane studio back into a habitable state following the fire.
"While it's obviously been a difficult time for us recently we are putting this to one side and working hard rehearsing for the show.
"We are doing our best to make sure that despite all the problems caused by the fire we will perform at the highest level as we are not only representing Mercury Dance Academy but also Weymouth."
