WITH Halloween just around the corner, Dorset has made a top 10 of counties with the most 'haunted pubs'.
Research by Funky Pigeon has found that Dorset is home to 36 haunted pubs, ranking it tenth on the list.
The title of most haunted however goes to Yorkshire which has over double the amount of haunted pubs with a figure of 89.

During their analysis, researchers also noticed a trend in similarly named pubs appearing with the ‘Red Lion public house,’ the ‘White Hart public house’ and the ‘White Hart Inn’ all ranking in the top 3 of names of pubs most likely to be haunted in the UK.
The ‘Red Lion public house’ came out on top with there reportedly being 18 haunted Red Lion pubs in the UK.
