TWO mystery people from Dorset have become millionaires after scooping a combined £2m on The National Lottery.
Known only as Mr. K and Mrs. M, the unknown pair from Dorset both plan to treat themselves to a new car following their colossal wins.
Mr. K, who played a lucky dip on the National Lottery website, won a whopping £1,000,000 prize in the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday, August 23.
If that wasn’t enough, the lucky winner, who plans to buy a new car and go on holiday with his win, also matched three main numbers and one Lucky Star number to win a further £8.60.
For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions millionaire maker code printed on their ticket – ensuring a UK millionaire in every draw.
Around two weeks later, Mrs. M also scooped a cheeky £1,000,000 after matching five main numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Wednesday, September 7. The lucky lady, who played her lucky dip via the National Lottery app, also has plans to buy a new car and gift her family.
Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous, or release some details through partial publicity – like Mr. K and Mrs. M.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said, “What incredible news for Mr. K and Mrs. M after becoming our latest lottery overnight millionaires. Dorset is proving to be a very lucky area for our players.”
