Firefighters from Weymouth joined colleagues from Dorset fire stations to take part in some specialised training.
This week firefighters from Poole, Weymouth Fire Station and Stratton St Margaret Fire Station have been taking part in some swift water rescue training at Cardiff International White Water Centre.
These scenarios, such as the one pictured showing a car underwater, allow firefighters to practice skills in difficult and testing conditions.
Members of the public were recently given a chance to find out more about Dorset emergency services and their work during the first Weymouth emergency services open day at Weymouth Police station.
Crews from across the emergency services took part in the fun day with stalls, refreshments displays and iconic emergency vehicles.
