YOUNG people who attend a project centre in Weymouth have been praised for their hard work.
The youngsters aged 16-17 received certificates to recognise their efforts achieving the Dorset Award.
Run by Dorset Youth and Community Service and designed to give school leavers a helping hand into work and training, the award covers a range of activities and skills offered by the Tides centre in Newstead Road.
Young people have to complete 20 hours in one of the subjects which include car mechanics, computer work, helping others, working as a team and problem solving. Tides manager Ron Pryce said: "They've all done amazingly well."
