FUN for all is on offer at Dorset Wildlife Trust's People and Wildlife open day on May 31.
The day will be based at Brooklands Farm in the beautiful Cerne Valley near Dorchester where there will be a chance to enjoy the wild flower meadow and wildlife ponds, get up close with some live wildlife and enjoy a barbecue or picnic.
Activities will include badge and fossil making, fishing games, seed planting, lucky dip, pond dipping and close encounters with the wild residents of the conservation centre.
The Wildlife Art Exhibit-ion, part of Dorset Art Weeks, will be held in the farmhouse buildings, featuring work by 19 artists.
The free entry open day will run from 11am to 3pm, the exhibition from 10am to 5pm and a barbecue will be held from noon until 2pm. More information is available on 01305 264620.
