There’s a chance to help rid Weymouth of some of the litter contaminating its picturesque landscape with Weymouth and Portland marine litter project.
Head down to RSPB Radipole Lake Discovery Centre on Sunday, October 2 from 10am – noon, where the group are hosting a litter pick around the nature reserve.
The group decided to take a trip to the site following their Great British Beach Clean earlier this week to see what it had in store and managed to collect a pile of discarded empty cans and bottles between the area of Westham bridge and the Gurkha, covering around 50 metres.
