  • WALK to School Week commences on Monday, May 19 and Cerne Abbas First School hopes that everyone will follow it by walking to school with their children.

Everyone is very welcome to provide photos of their efforts.

Maybe this event should be extended to incorporate Walk to Work Week?

We all know how beneficial walking is and I myself have parked my car a bit further away to be able to walk into town in time for work!

Even if it's just a ten minute walk - you will be surprised about how much of a difference it makes and I certainly find myself arriving at work more energetic!

Not to mention the fact that you can subsequently allow yourself and extra biscuit with your mid-morning coffee!
