YOUNGSTERS transformed themselves into superheroes and took on their very own secret mission.
The children, from Sydling Springs Pre-School near Dorchester, got together to rescue 'lost litter' from around the village.
They chose outfits from the school's dressing up box - including Spiderman and Superman - and protected each other by holding hands as they crossed roads and paths. And once their special mission was complete the youngsters came up with their own song, 'Don't Drop Litter, Put it in the Bin', to mark the achievement.
Pre-school leader Samantha Mercer said: "This was influenced by the children.
"They really loved showing off their new superhero clothing so we decided to make a week of it and put some of their positive superhero skills into practice."
