THE Harley Davidson Owners' Group will arrive in Weymouth this weekend as part of their annual rally.
Around 650 motorcyclists will set off from Warmwell leisure centre at 10.45am on Saturday and ride through Affpuddle, Tolpuddle and Puddletown.
The convoy will join the Dorchester bypass briefly before travelling through Broadmayne to the Warmwell Cross Roundabout and on to Weymouth Pavilion by around midday.
The bikers will then retrace the route to Lodmoor country park where the bikes will remain on display for a time.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said police outriders will escort the convoy to help keep road disruption to a minimum. Dorset Police also ask that road users avoid the A353, Preston Road and Weymouth seafront between 11.30am and 12.15pm on the day.
Anyone using these roads at these times is asked to obey all instructions and directions given to them by police officers or the rally's own marshals.
PC Gary Wandless, of Dorset Police's traffic unit, said: "I'm appealing for patience and understanding from all motorists."
