HUNGRY youngsters turned back the clock to Celtic times for a history event with a difference.
Members of Dorset County Museum's museum club tried their hand at cooking outdoors using the Celtic village buildings in the grounds of the Prince of Wales First School in Dorchester.
During the morning they discovered how to use ancient techniques and recipes to produce a meal with the help of a pit oven and baking box and how to make a cake in a frying pan.
Museum club activities usually take place in the Dorchester museum but the outdoors cooking session ensured fresh air sharpened appetites for the youngsters.
