FOUR men led police on a high speed pursuit from Weymouth to Ferndown early today.
They sped off in blue BMW when stopped by officers in Weymouth at 8.14am.
Police followed them in a 'high speed pursuit' across the county before they stopepd near Tesco in Ferndown.
The men ran towards the Tesco car park but officers arrested three of them.
The fourth man escaped.
DCI Dave Cregg praised officers for their quick actions in making the arrests. He also said he wanted to thank members of the public who helped them locate the men when they ran from the car.
Three men from London aged 23, 24 and 37 were arrested and are in custody, helping police with their enquiries.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who saw the men runing from the car and for help to find the fourth man. He was described as a black man of large build.
