REGULARS at Dorchester's Victoria Hotel are celebrating after raising about £1,500 with a charity fundraising day.
The pub goers took part in a fun run to Maiden Castle, skittles and pool competitions and raffles to raise cash for Cancer Research UK.
Organiser Mat Chalmers said: "Every year the pub holds a charity day and this year we had a wonderful time.
"The fun-runners took a bit of a soaking but the good cause kept us going.
"During the day a barbecue, a bouncy castle and a couple of live bands kept things going and the atmosphere was terrific."
Cancer Research UK's branch chairman for Portland, Weymouth and Dorchester Olive Carroll was on hand to start the fun run.
The charity collection was boosted by a donation from Dorchester Town girls' football team who held an auction at their annual awards evening.
