HOSPITAL staff will clash during a charity football match.
Clinicians and porters from Dorset County Hospital will go head to head at the Jewson Stadium, Dorchester, next Friday when the public is invited to watch.
Organiser and hospital administration assistant Juliet Morey said: "Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust cannot fund everything it is required to.
"It is not a bottomless pit and I wanted to help raise funds. We are looking for families to come along and enjoy the stadium.
"We are hoping it will be a fun evening that will raise lots."
Proceeds from the event will go to the hospital's stroke unit.
Mrs Morey said the unit was chosen by the Porters Fundraising Committee - which holds four charity sport events each year.
Tickets to the match cost £3, or £6 for a family ticket, and kick off is at 6.30pm.
