A MAN was cut free from his car and taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Weymouth, police said.
Officers were called to the collision, in Dorchester Road, shortly after 11.30am today.
A passing paramedic stopped to attend to the injured man, who was complaining of chest and neck pains.
Two Dorset Fire and Rescue Service crews from Weymouth were called to remove the roof of the car and free the trapped man.
The vehicles involved were a silver Honda Jazz, registered to a Weymouth woman, and a blue Citroen Saxo, registered to a Wiltshire man.
Part of Dorchester Road was closed for nearly two hours after the crash while the route was cleared.
A Dorset Police spokesman said three people were hurt in the accident but none of the injuries were thought to be serious.
