TWO men were thrown into the sea after their boat was hit by waves at West Bay, coastguard said.
Rescuers were called after the first man was knocked from his cabin cruiser into the water near the harbour entrance yesterday afternoon.
The vessel was hit by another wave and taken on to rocks - throwing the second man out - and the coastguard rescue helicopter was alerted.
The pair were helped ashore by coastguards and checked over by ambulance paramedics.
n A diver was airlifted to a recompression chamber after making a rapid ascent to the dive boat Ruby J, south of Lyme Regis.
n Four people were seen stranded on a rigid inflatable boat off Portland yesterday afternoon. They were unable to start their engine and were towed into Castletown by the dive vessel Scimitar.
n Two people in a dinghy being taken by the tide in the fleet near Moonfleet Manor were taken ashore and given safety advice by coastguards.
