Nothe Fort in Weymouth is inviting the local community to a candlelit vigil at the Fort to honour Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday, September 18 at its Parade Ground.
You can drop in anytime between 4pm and 9pm, and there will be a one-minute silence as a shared national moment of reflection at 8pm to mourn and reflect on the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II.
Tealights will be available for a donation, which will be passed on to the Royal British Legion.
Please note, that the Nothe Fort Parade Ground has a maximum capacity of 800 people at one time, so there may be a waiting time.
The Fort will be shut on Monday 19th September for the Queen's funeral.
