A teenager with a degenerative muscle disease is taking on a huge fundraiser.
Adam, 15, has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - a condition where muscles progressively degenerate and get weaker.
He's been going to ForFit Fitness and Dorchester Martial Arts since the age of six and bagged a taekwondo black belt aged just 11.
Adam is now in a wheelchair and will be attempting a '1,000 punches' challenge today.
The challenge will see Adam, from Sutton Poyntz, throw 1,000 taekwondo punches using his arm supports to assist him.
Given the progressive and degenerative nature of Adam's disease, taekwondo has become much more difficult for him over the past couple of years.
Fortunately Dorset Children's Foundation were able to partially-fund some 'Neater Arm Support' to allow Adam to continue with the sport.

Now he's hoping to raise some vital funds for the charity as well as ForFit Fitness to help make their outside are wheelchair friendly.
Stephanie Carter, who works at ForFit Fitness, has worked with Adam since he started at the club and said: “He takes it all in his stride. We obviously see his challenges and the condition getting worse - when he first came he was walking and now we see him driving his wheelchair but he just doesn’t seem bothered by it.
"He’s always happy, he genuinely is, he’s so brave and I don’t know how he manages to stay so enthusiastic all of the time.
“We’re trying to make the outside area more wheelchair friendly because he's been coming to us for around 10 years and it's definitely something we'd love to improve on."
“Adam's condition is slowly getting worse, that's the nature of the disease, but he is a really remarkable boy. He's so resilient not just to keep on going but to really push himself with a challenge like this.
Dorset Children's Foundation is an independent charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities living across the county.
The charity is a member of The Disabled Children’s Partnership - a coalition of more than 90 organisations.
