Dog friendly businesses in the area will be celebrated with a special awards ceremony.
The Paws 4 Fort Dorset Dog Friendly Business Awards will be held at the Nothe Fort in Weymouth on Sunday, September 25 from 11am to 3pm.
The awards ceremony will be followed by a dog show said to be 'like no other'.
Dog owners are invited to enter their fluffy friends into the dog show, which includes categories such as prettiest girl, most handsome boy, best young handler (under 10 years) and cutest puppy (under 12 months).
This event is held in partnership with DogFriendly.Social and Watercombe Dogs with prizes from Watercombe Dogs and Leucillin.
