Firefighters from across Dorset are to take part in a training exercise at Dorset County Hospital's new multi-storey car park.
The exercise takes place tonight ahead of the car park's public opening.
Those in the surrounding area have been warned to expect to see plenty of fire engines and smoke but reassured that it's nothing to worry about.
Crews from Dorchester Fire Station, Bridport Fire Station, Maiden Newton Fire Station and Fire Control will use the entrance on Damers Road to access the site.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said: "This exercise will allow us and our colleagues to test our procedures and skills.
"We'll be using the entrance on Damers Road (Dorchester Childrens Centre car park) to access the site.
"If you see fire engines, smoke and lots of activity, our training is going well.
"Thank you to our colleagues at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for allowing us to use the building in this way, before it opens."
