UPDATE: as of 2.54pm, traffic returned to normal
Motorists are still experiencing delays on the A35 folllowing a crash earlier in the day though congestion is much lighter than previously.
A crash had been reported earlier this morning between Tizard's Knap, Morecombelake, and Berne Lane, Charmouth - with motorists experiencing severe delays for several hours.
At it's peak traffic was heavy along the A35 from Morecombelake back towards the A3052 turn-off near Charmouth.
Congestion has now eased though slight delays remain between Berne Lane and Tizard's Knap
