Emergency services rushed to Bowleaze Cove following reports of a woman suffering a head injury.
The casualty had fallen forwards and sustained a wound to her forehead.
Crews from Wyke Coastguard Rescue Team, Portland Bill CRT and the ambulance service were tasked to the scene at 1am on Sunday.
When they arrived, the casualty complained of pain and tingling at the back of her neck.
Paramedics placed her in a vacuum mattress before being placed on a stretcher and carried from the beach to an awaiting ambulance.
Teams were stood down just before 4am.
