TWO men have been arrested by Weymouth & Portland Police.
The first male was arrested after being spotted in Weymouth town centre having failed to appear before court.
The second man was wanted having been recalled to prison.
He attempted to make off from the officers arresting him - leading to the police's dog unit having to step in.
Both arrests took place whilst officers from Weymouth & Portland's neighbourhood policing team were carrying out directed patrols of the town.
A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said: "Many thanks to our colleagues from the Force Support Group and the Dog Section for their assistance."
