It might be the summer holidays but learning never stops: Bridport Fire Station has joined with Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to create a range of summer safety resources.
The kits are available at four different age ranges (Foundation & Year One, Years Two and Three, Years Four to Six, and Year 7 plus).
They focus on three key areas of safety that cover the fire and rescue service: outdoor fire safety, water safety and road safety.
The service has made a number of educational videos aimed at being used as a conversation starter with children about how to keep themselves safe this summer.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “This summer, we want all children and young people to enjoy themselves and have fun outside – but to do so safely.
“Please talk to your children about how they can keep themselves safe over the holidays, especially older children and teenagers who may be out independently with friends rather than family.”
