What’s on in Weymouth this Bank Holiday weekend?
Here’s a round up of some of the events happening in Weymouth between Friday, August 26 and August 29 Bank Holiday Monday.
Quayside Music Festival
Date: August 27-28
Location: Rendezvous, Weymouth Quay, Town Bridge, Weymouth DT4 8AW
This two day festival at Weymouth Harbour is free entry so attracts large crowds every year.
Along with the stage overlooking the harbour showcasing local bands, there's also a big screen, outdoor bars and food stalls.

Transport of Yesteryear – Classic Car Display
Date: August 29-29
Location: Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, Buller's Way, Abbotsbury, Weymouth DT3 4LA
If you are a fan of four wheels, this event is not to be missed.
Find Transport of Yesteryear members showing off their collection of classic, vintage and veteran motor vehicles in the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.
Entry to the garden covers access to the display, at no extra cost.

Weymouth Dragon Boat Race 2022
Date: August 28
Location: Weymouth Beach, Pavilion End, Weymouth DT4
After being postponed during the pandemic, the popular charity Weymouth Dragon Boat Race returns.
Hundreds of participants take to Weymouth Bay as teams paddle their way to the finish line helping to raise thousands of pounds for local causes.
If you would like to take part, teams must enter prior to the day.
