These two old pictures bring back memories of a much-missed pub in Chapelhay, Weymouth.
The second picture shows a group of sponsored walkers setting out from the Prospect Inn in Franchise Street in May 1987.
Readers have some happy memories of the pub being an important fixture in the Chapelhay neighbourhood.
Nicky James writes: "It was our local - always got a bottle of cider from the off-sales on the way to All Saints school or the boys club discos. Underage sales were just a thing back then."
Chris Osborn has memories of attending wedding receptions at the pub 'many years ago.'
Skittle playing was a popular activity in the Prospect Inn, with Andrew Brown remembering the pub as his home skittle alley for a few years in the 1990s.
The pub also had a darts board, Colin Park played darts in there in about 1982.
Marie-Louise Harris remembers: "I grew up in Chapelhay so the landlord, land lady and bar staff knew who I was and how old so friends used to go in there and get the booze before boys club disco or the pavilion disco.
"I remember the lovely Liz Jay and I had my first legal drink in there. I used to also take the empty pop bottles back to get the 10p."
John Webb says: "I remember those days! I lived in Rodwell, I still do, I used to pop in for a drink from time to time."
