Enjoy wine, local cider and beer when a garden is open to the public on this weekend for the NGS.
The garden at Old Granary Cottage in West Milton, Bridport, DT6 3TN, is perhaps best described as a painter’s garden.
Perched on the top of a hill, and overlooking the valley of West Milton, it has been created by Hugo Grenville to be an inspiration for his painting, a blaze of pink and yellow, violet and red, silhouetted against the bluish-greens of the south Dorset hills.
It's open on Friday, August 5 from 5.30pm to 8pm and on Saturday, August 6 from 12 noon to 6pm.
Wine, cider and beer will be served on the Friday evening opening and cream teas on the Saturday afternoon opening.
Admission costs £5 for adults and £3 for children.
