A FUNDRAISING ceilidh is being held at Portesham Village Hall.
It takes place on Saturday, September 10 and will feature a band of local professional and amateur musicians.
Ceilidh bands feature three to six players, playing instruments such as fiddles, flutes, accordions, drums and even electric guitars, and the songs are cheery and lively to get everyone up in the mood to dance
Angela Laycock will bring her usual charm and cheerfulness as the caller.
She is a well-respected caller, who doesn't take 'no' for an answer.
Angela will be on hand to teach everyone and help them come and have a good time.
All proceeds from the evening will go to ‘Choose Love’ and local food banks.
More details about the evening will be released closer to the time.
