A DRIVER has been assisting police with enquiries after they were caught driving along Weymouth promenade.
Weymouth Neighbourhood Policing Team and a team from Weymouth and Portland Police were called to deal with the incident on Saturday evening (July 23) on the promenade near Preston.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: “Weymouth Neighbourhood Policing team along with officers from red squad, have dealt with a vehicle that had driven onto the promenade near to Preston.
“The driver is now assisting us with enquiries back at the station.”
