A TALK is being held on the prehistoric landscape of the Dorchester area.
'The Extraordinary Prehistoric Landscape Under Your Feet And Up The Hills' talk takes place at Dorset Museum, Dorchester, on Friday, July 22 at 7pm.
Steve Wallis, senior for Dorset Council's environmental advice team, will talk about changes over time to the Dorchester landscape and the different types of monuments and remains.
It will encompass prehistoric sites in Dorchester like Maiden Castle and Maumbury Rings, and nearby sites such as the burial mounds and stone circles of the South Dorset Ridgeway.
This Festival of Archaeology talk is part of the Home of Hillforts and Henges festival, continuing until July 31.
