UPDATE

POLICE have confirmed a man who went missing from Weymouth has been found.

Simon Boulton was last seen during the morning on Tuesday 19 July 2022 in the town.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Following searches by officers, assisted by the NPAS helicopter, Simon has now been found.

"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal."

 

A HELICOPTER has been launched to find a man missing from Weymouth as officers appeal to the public for their help.

Simon Boulton, aged 47, was last seen at around 10.20am on Tuesday 19 July 2022 at Weymouth Bay holiday park in Preston Road.

Simon is described as white with black or grey hair that is short and shaved on the sides. He is wearing black Adidas shorts, a grey T-shirt, black and white Nike trainers and a multi-coloured bucket hat (pictured above).

Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “Simon left the area unexpectedly in an upset state and we do not believe he has important medication with him.

“Officers are currently carrying out searches of the area, assisted by the NPAS helicopter, in a bid to locate Simon.

“I am appealing to anyone who has seen Simon, or a man matching the description given, to please urgently get in touch.”
