THERE will be an opportunity to heighten the protection of your bicycle at an event offering security marking for free.
Security marking is a highly effective, visible deterrent to bike thieves as bikes are registered and can be traced back to the owner.
Weymouth Cadets along with a team from Weymouth and Portland Police will be offering the service at The Marsh (Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre pedestrian access) Knightsdale Road on Wednesday, July 20 from 6.30pm-8.15pm.
They will be using BikeRegister kits that have been purchased by Dorset Council Community Safety Team.
The Cadets will also be carrying out a litter pick on The Marsh and Rodwell Trail in support of Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week.
