THE Weymouth Food Festival is set to spice up the summer, with highlights including a food challenge, cooking demonstrations, family friendly entertainment and much more.
The event will see a whole host of tasty treats, entertainment, live music from local musicians and food competitions.
Brave visitors can test their taste buds during a Chilli Challenge Competition that ‘isn’t for the faint hearted and is set to deliver some hilarious entertainment’.
The beer festival from Downton Brewery will have an array of real ales along with wines, spirits and lagers too. The festival will also feature an inflatable pub not to mention an authentic cider bar.
There's also a dog show, the 'human stunt man', chocolate eating competition, food and drink producers as well as a variety of arts and craft vendors.
The event takes place on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, 31 at Lodmoor Country Park.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for children aged 5-16 (in advance) while children aged 0-4 go free. Prices go up slightly from 8pm on July 28.
