An award-winning London bar which considers soap character Pat Butcher its 'Queen' is opening a pop-up bar in a Weymouth art gallery.
Little Nan’s Weymouth Pop-Up Bar from Deptford, south east London will be open inside Saint Nics Gallery on St Nicholas Street, Weymouth.
It will be open on Friday, August 5 from 5pm to 11pm and Saturday, August 6 from midday to 11pm.
The bar's theme is everything 'kitsch, quintessentially British and fun' and has even been graced with a visit from the EastEnders actor who plays Pat Butcher, Pam St Clement.
Owners of the London bar have selected Weymouth as a pop-up destination because grandson Tristan spent every summer as a child in Weymouth with his grandparents who lived in Dorchester and now lives in London himself.
Little Nan's promises 'a boozy fun times experience' with cocktails served in teapots and vases topped with nostalgic sweeties.
The Weymouth art gallery will be transformed into 'a wonderland of all things kitsch and nostalgic, and this time with a seaside circus twist'.
On offer will be a fully stocked bar serving beers, wines and spirits, vodka candy shots and Little Nan’s 'disco fries' and 'fish finger sarnies'.
The music will be disco anthems, 80s and 90s and early 00s party tunes and there will also be a dance floor area.
DJ Sii will be entertaining on the Saturday from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
The pop-up bar will also have a photo booth room and a separate karaoke room.
Walk ins are dependant on space so people are advised to book, especially if celebrating. Email tristan@littlenans.co.uk
