Elvis tribute acts were all shook up when they went to watch a new film about the star dressed up as their idol.
Local tribute acts Darren H Presley and Reuben Searle turned a few heads when they visited the Plaza cinema in Dorchester on Friday to watch the premiere of Baz Luhrmann's biopic Elvis.
The film stars Austin Butler as the iconic rocker and Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker.
Darren said: "It was excellent, both actors gave outstanding performances especially Austin Butler who really captured the essence of Elvis Presley. The production of the movie was top notch and I would recommend going to see it, even if you're not an Elvis fan."
Originally the plan was to have a large number of Elvis tributes and impersonators attend the showing, but many had to pull out.
Darren added: "Sadly not many turned up due to the rain but the two of us who did attend attracted a fair bit of attention from people going to see the new Elvis movie. People made a point to stop and chat with us and take photos."
