THE Probation Service is asking to expand Weymouth’s bail hostel by adding a single storey side extension to the Westwey Road property.
The move, if approved, will allow for the demolition of a bin store to be replaced by a laundry room built in matching materials.
Public comments on the application, Dorset Council reference 2022/03634, remain open until July 14.
Weymouth town council, Dorset highways, the Environment Agency and ward councillors for Westham Ward have been asked for the comments on the proposal.
