The owner of an “abandoned vehicle” was issued with a Traffic Offence Report yesterday evening.
Neighbourhood Officers from Weymouth & Portland Police found the vehicle “abandoned” and blocking a junction.
The driver of the vehicle was delivering to a nearby address and returned to the car after a few minutes of officers locating it.
A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said there were “a number of marked parking bays that could have been used instead”.
A Traffic Offence Report can be issued by officers when there is reason to believe a road user may have committed a specified road traffic-related offence.
