AN UNCONSCIOUS diver was airlifted to hospital earlier today after being pulled out of the water.
The diver was at the Kyarra wreck, in Swanage, when they began to experience difficulty at a depth of around 23m.
Swanage RNLI's all-weather lifeboat was requested for an immediate launch at 8.44am and was quickly alongside the dive vessel.
When the lifeboat arrived the diver was onboard the vessel and was found to have regained consciousness and being given oxygen.
An HM Rescue helicopter was requested to ensure the casualty got to hospital as quickly as possible.
The casualty was placed in a lifting harness and airlifted to hospital.
