Visitors can enjoy an open gardens event in Rampisham.
Seven gardens can be viewed on Sunday, June 12 from 11am-5pm and some of them are opening for the first time.
The larger ones have wonderful perennial borders, roses and shrubs, old walled gardens with topiary and standard trees.
There are new cottage gardens that have an array of floral colour, fruit trees and traditional vegetable patches.
Visitors can also view (and purchase) woodturning by Peter Thomas and Trevor Ball; Blue Bowl gifts by Florence Drake; local landscape paintings by Esther Jeanes: national award winning charcuterie by Capreolus Fine Foods; and plants for sale at Broomhill.
St Michael and All Angels will be open so people can see the floral arrangements and view the chancel, designed by AWN Pugin (co-architect of Houses of Parliament).
Tea, cake and light refreshments will be served in the village hall.
Entry is £8 for adults and £4 for children.
Tickets can only be bought at Pugin Hall and Broomhill so start your day at one of these gardens and hold on to your tickets for entry to the other gardens.
The National Garden Scheme raise funds for nursing and healthcare related charities, such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Parkinson’s UK.
