A SPEEDING motorist from Dorchester who changed his not guilty plea to one of guilt must must pay a £200 court bill.
Weymouth Magistrates Court heard how Justin Paul Norris, aged, 44, was behind the wheel of a blue Ford on January 20 last year driving along the A35 Trunk Road at Miles Cross travelling at 58mph. The speed limit on the stretch he was on is 50mph.
Norris, Brunel Court, Great Western Road, pleaded not guilty to exceeding 50mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order on June 8 2021, but changed his plea to a guilty one on Thursday (May 25).
He has been ordered to pay a fine of £40, a surcharge of £34, and court costs of £126 - totalling £200.
