A MAN has been arrested for growing cannabis in his loft after it was uncovered by police.
Weymouth and Portland Police attended an address in Weymouth yesterday afternoon (May 23). Whilst at the property officers from Response discovered cannabis growing in the loft.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: “Officers from Response attended an address in Weymouth this afternoon.
“Whilst at the property officers located some funny looking tomato plants growing in the loft.
“One male has been arrested for cultivation of cannabis and remains in police custody.”
