DORSET Police are looking for individuals from all backgrounds to join their team of special constables.
The role of a special constable is undertaken on a voluntary basis and few other volunteering opportunities can offer the same challenges and responsibilities.
'Specials' have the same powers and wear the same uniform as a regular police officer.
Chief Officer for Dorset Police special constabulary, Ryan Howell said: "Special Constables are unique individuals who bring skills and experience from outside of policing that benefit the communities of Dorset."
The recruitment stage for special constables is open until midnight on June 19.
